Overview

Avelumab + PD-0360324 is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two monoclonal antibodies: avelumab, an anti–PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand 1) antibody, and PD-0360324, a fully human immunoglobulin G2 monoclonal antibody that targets macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF). Avelumab enhances immune responses against cancer cells by blocking PD-L1, thereby preventing tumor cells from inhibiting T cell activity. PD-0360324 inhibits the binding of M-CSF to its receptor, which reduces the activity and number of macrophage lineages, potentially modulating the tumor microenvironment and suppressing certain monocyte subpopulations. The combination was assessed in clinical studies for its safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in advanced solid tumors, as part of broader immunotherapy regimens in oncology[1][2][3][4][5].
