Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVEMOM-HT Cream is a topical fixed-dose combination cream developed and manufactured by Avancer Labs. It contains three active ingredients: hydroquinone (4% w/w), mometasone furoate (0.1% w/w), and tretinoin (0.025% w/w). Hydroquinone is a skin-lightening agent that inhibits tyrosinase, the rate-limiting enzyme in melanin synthesis, thereby reducing skin pigmentation. Mometasone furoate is a medium-potency synthetic corticosteroid that exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions by activating glucocorticoid receptors. Tretinoin is a retinoid that binds to retinoic acid receptors to promote epidermal cell turnover and facilitate the dispersion of existing melanin. AVEMOM-HT Cream is primarily indicated for the short-term treatment of moderate-to-severe melasma and related hyperpigmentation disorders of the face.
