AVH200

AVH200 is a standardized, freeze-dried inner leaf gel extract of *Aloe barbadensis* Mill. (Aloe vera) developed by Calmino Group AB. The extract is chemically defined, containing primarily aloin and acemannan, and is formulated as an effervescent tablet for oral administration. AVH200 possesses immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory properties, characterized by its ability to suppress T cell proliferation, reduce the expression of CD25 on CD3+ T cells, and inhibit the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-2 (IL-2), interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), and interleukin-17A (IL-17A). It has been investigated in clinical trials as a potential treatment for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), aiming to modulate immune activation within the gut mucosa.
