AVI-105

AVI-105 is an investigational **anti-CD47 monoclonal antibody** being developed by **AbVision** as a biosuperior follow-on to magrolimab for oncology applications. It is designed to bind **CD47**, a myeloid checkpoint that delivers a \"don't eat me\" signal to macrophages, thereby promoting macrophage-mediated phagocytosis of tumor cells and antitumor immune activity. Publicly described data indicate that AVI-105 showed comparable binding affinity and in vivo antitumor activity to magrolimab in preclinical studies, with reportedly stronger macrophage-mediated phagocytosis and less hemagglutination, suggesting a potentially improved safety profile with reduced red blood cell related toxicity risk. The program has been reported as having completed preclinical work and entered the IND-enabling stage, with AbVision seeking partnering or out-licensing for further development.
