Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVID-670 is an engineered oncolytic adenovirus being developed by AdCure Bio for the treatment of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Designed as a sequential systemic therapeutic, AVID-670 is administered intravenously to selectively infect and lyse tumor cells. The platform aims to overcome the limitations of traditional oncolytic viruses by enabling systemic delivery, which allows the virus to reach metastatic sites and primary tumors throughout the body. By inducing tumor cell lysis, the therapy may also stimulate a systemic anti-tumor immune response. It is currently in the preclinical discovery and refinement stage.
