Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aviga is a pharmaceutical drug manufactured by JLLC NATIVITA, Republic of Belarus. It is a generic version of Sutent, containing 50 mg of Sunitinib. Sunitinib is a small-molecule, multi-targeted receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor. It works by inhibiting various RTKs, including all receptors for platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF-Rs), vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), c-KIT (CD117), RET, and FLT3. This inhibition reduces tumor vascularization, impedes tumor growth and angiogenesis, and promotes cancer cell apoptosis.
