Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AVM0704 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug being developed by AVM Biotechnology. It is designed to stimulate hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) to promote the formation of new blood cells. The primary therapeutic goal of AVM0704 is to reduce the clinical requirement for blood transfusions and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) treatments in patients with hematologic deficiencies. Unlike the company's lead candidate, AVM0703, AVM0704 does not induce an immune reset or mobilize bispecific immune cells, focusing instead on direct stem cell stimulation for hematopoiesis.
