Overview

AVR-101 is an investigational, long-acting, intra-articular biologic inhibitor of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) being developed by Avalor Therapeutics. It is designed to suppress root-cause inflammation in chronic inflammatory joint diseases. The therapeutic candidate is currently in preclinical/IND-enabling development, with initial clinical focus on osteoarthritis (OA), refractory gout (RG), and calcium pyrophosphate deposition (CPPD) disease.
