Overview
AVZO-103 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to simultaneously target Nectin4 and TROP2, two tumor-associated antigens commonly co-expressed in various advanced solid tumors, including urothelial cancer and breast cancer. The ADC is engineered to achieve enhanced tumor cell killing while sparing normal tissue. The cytotoxic payload acts by inhibiting DNA topoisomerase I, disrupting cancer cell replication and survival. AVZO-103 was originated by VelaVigo (Shanghai) and is being co-developed by Avenzo Therapeutics, which holds global rights outside Greater China. As of September 2025, AVZO-103 has received FDA clearance for an IND and is entering first-in-human Phase 1/2 clinical trials as a monotherapy and in combination regimens for advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][7][8].
