AVZO-1418

AVZO-1418 is a novel bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that targets both epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3). It is designed to deliver a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload specifically to tumor cells co-expressing EGFR and HER3. The drug leverages DualityBio’s proprietary DIBAC platform for enhanced binding affinity and internalization in target cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated robust antitumor activity across multiple solid tumor models, including those resistant to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The agent is being developed by Avenzo Therapeutics under license from Duality Biotherapeutics for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with an initial focus on non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and head and neck cancer[1][2][3][4][5][6].
