Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AWT032 is a preclinical-stage multi-specific T-cell engager being developed by Anwita Biosciences for the treatment of hematological autoimmune diseases. This biologic therapeutic is designed to simultaneously bind to B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19 on target B-cells, as well as CD3 on T cells, thereby redirecting T-cell cytotoxicity toward pathogenic B-cells. By targeting two distinct B-cell antigens, AWT032 aims to achieve more effective and comprehensive depletion of the B-cell lineage compared to single-target therapies, potentially offering a potent treatment option for B-cell-driven autoimmune conditions.
