Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AX-007 is a conditioned mesenchymal stem cell (cMSC) therapy developed by Axiom Biosciences for the treatment of Intraventricular Hemorrhage (IVH) in newborns. The product is based on Axiom's proprietary MSC platform technology. In 2023, AX-007 was granted Rare Pediatric Disease Designation and Orphan Disease Designation by the U.S. FDA for the treatment of IVH. While some pipeline documentation lists the program in the preclinical to Phase 1 stage, other company pipeline visualizations indicate it has reached Phase 2 development.
