Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Axicabtagene ciloleucel + glofitamab is an investigational combination therapy for large B-cell lymphoma. Axicabtagene ciloleucel is a CD19-directed autologous CAR-T cell therapy that genetically modifies a patient's own T cells to target and kill CD19-expressing B cells. Glofitamab is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that binds both CD20 on B cells and CD3 on T cells, redirecting T cells to kill malignant B cells. This combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immune activity and improve outcomes for patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma, potentially even as a second-line treatment. Multiple phase II clinical trials are underway to assess synergy, safety, and efficacy of this combination, particularly in patients who have not responded to or are ineligible for standard therapies[1][4][5][6].
