AXIOFILL is a biocompatible, acellular human extracellular matrix (ECM) derived from the placental disc. It is designed for use in the replacement or supplementation of damaged or inadequate integumental tissue, particularly in complex surgical wounds and soft tissue deficits. The product preserves multiple ECM components and matrix-bound proteins through gentle processing, supporting cell attachment, new collagen formation, and neovascularization at the application site. AXIOFILL can be applied as a dry particulate or hydrated into a paste to accommodate various wound geometries and clinical needs. It is compatible with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Clinical indications include trauma wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, surgical debridement sites, tunneling/undermined wounds, fistulae, deep irregular wounds, incisions from surgery (including donor sites/grafts), post-Mohs surgery wounds, post-laser surgery sites, podiatric procedures and wound dehiscence[2][6][8].
