This is a collection of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and immune checkpoint inhibitors used in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Axitinib, cabozantinib, lenvatinib, pazopanib, and sunitinib are all tyrosine kinase inhibitors that work by blocking the activity of proteins that cancer cells use to help them divide and grow, particularly targeting vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs).
