Overview

Axolotl Shot is an acellular, regenerative biologic fluid derived from the amniotic components of human placental tissue. Developed by Axolotl Biologix (now a part of Carmell Therapeutics), the product is manufactured using a proprietary BioSym process designed to preserve and concentrate a variety of growth factors and anti-inflammatory cytokines. These components are intended to stimulate cellular proliferation, migration, and tissue repair while modulating the inflammatory environment. Classified as a human cell and tissue-based product (HCT/P) under FDA Section 361, Axolotl Shot is terminally irradiated for sterility and supplied in preloaded syringes that are stable at ambient temperatures. It is utilized in clinical settings for wound care, orthopedic applications such as ankle osteoarthritis, and various tissue repair and cosmetic procedures.
