Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AYK103 is an in-situ therapeutic cancer vaccine (tumor vaccine) developed by Chengdu Maxvax Biotechnology and Shanghai AEON Biotechnology. It is designed for the treatment of neoplasms, specifically hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer). The vaccine formulation incorporates a novel composite adjuvant system intended to enhance the immune response against tumor cells. As an in-situ vaccine, it is typically administered directly into the tumor site to induce a localized and potentially systemic anti-tumor immune response. AYK103 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
