Overview

AYUB15 + NS14 is a preclinical-stage combination of plant-derived essential oils being developed by AYUB R&D for the treatment of bladder cancer. The formulation consists of an enriched Boswellia sacra (frankincense) essential oil extract, designated as AYUB15, and a Nigella sativa (black seed) essential oil extract, designated as NS14. Preclinical research using the J82 bladder cancer cell line has demonstrated synergistic anticancer activity from the combination. Although the individual components contain bioactive compounds such as boswellic acids and thymoquinone, no specific molecular target has been formally identified for this combination; its efficacy is currently attributed to the combined pharmacological properties of the two essential oils.
