Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of azacitidine (an epigenetic agent), epacadostat (an IDO1 inhibitor), and pembrolizumab (a PD-1 inhibitor). This regimen was designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses through multiple mechanisms: azacitidine triggers interferon responses and serves as an immunotherapy priming method, epacadostat inhibits IDO1 (an enzyme that contributes to tumor immune intolerance), and pembrolizumab blocks PD-1 to enhance T-cell mediated immune responses against tumors.
