Overview

AZD-0292 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody under development by AstraZeneca for the treatment of bronchiectasis. It is designed to target both the type III secretion protein PcrV and the polysaccharide synthesis locus (psl), which are associated with pathogenic mechanisms in respiratory diseases. The drug is administered intravenously and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for bronchiectasis[1][3][7].
