AZD2275

AZD2275 is an investigational unconjugated monoclonal antibody developed by AstraZeneca for use in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It is being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial alongside related agents AZD2284 and AZD2287. In the study, AZD2275 serves as an unconjugated antibody used to optimize the biodistribution and effectiveness of radiolabeled therapies, particularly those targeting tumor-specific markers such as Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) and Six-Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of Prostate 2 (STEAP2). The primary aim is to enhance imaging and targeted treatment approaches for mCRPC. While the precise antigen target of AZD2275 has not been definitively disclosed, it is likely designed to bind either PSMA or STEAP2 on prostate cancer cells[5][7][8].
