Overview

AZD2962 is an oral, small molecule inhibitor of Interleukin-1 Receptor-Associated Kinase 4 (IRAK4). It is being developed as a targeted therapy for hematologic neoplasms, specifically for myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and dysplastic chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). The drug is designed to block IRAK4, a key signaling kinase involved in inflammation and malignant progression in hematologic malignancies. AZD2962 is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to determine its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy, both as monotherapy and in combination with other agents[1][5][9].
