Overview

**AZD5156** is AstraZeneca's investigational fixed-dose combination of two long-acting anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibodies: sipavibart and cilgavimab. Both antibodies bind distinct epitopes in the receptor-binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein, neutralizing viral entry by blocking spike interaction with the host ACE2 receptor. It was evaluated as an intramuscular pre-exposure prophylaxis for COVID-19 in people with immune impairment in the Phase I sentinel component of the SUPERNOVA program.
