Overview

AZD8931 + anastrozole is a combination therapy consisting of AZD8931, an orally bioavailable, reversible tyrosine kinase inhibitor of EGFR, HER2, and HER3 signaling, and anastrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. This combination was investigated to determine if adding AZD8931 to endocrine therapy would delay the development of endocrine resistance in patients with hormone-sensitive advanced breast cancer.
