Drug intelligence / Profile preview
B-Liv is a combination hepatoprotective tablet developed by Med Manor Organics. It contains L-ornithine L-aspartate, metadoxine, pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and silymarin. It is primarily indicated for the supportive treatment of acute and chronic liver diseases, including alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), liver cirrhosis, and chronic hepatitis. L-ornithine L-aspartate helps reduce blood ammonia levels by promoting the urea cycle, metadoxine accelerates alcohol clearance and acts as an antioxidant, silymarin provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory protection to liver cells, and pyridoxine supports protein metabolism and nerve function.
