Overview
B1-1420 is a preclinical **bispecific monoclonal antibody** being developed by Kenjockety Biotechnology for **drug-resistant cancers**. The antibody is designed to bind **P-glycoprotein** on multidrug-resistant tumor cells together with **CD47**, creating tumor-focused dual targeting intended to both **antagonize the ABCB1 efflux pump** and **block the CD47 innate immune checkpoint**, thereby reducing chemotherapy resistance and enhancing macrophage-mediated antitumor activity. Kenjockety has described this program as part of its BASE platform for efflux pump-targeted bispecific antibodies, with preclinical in vivo activity reported as monotherapy and in combination with paclitaxel, and the lead Pgp x CD47 bispecific antibody reported as ready for IND-enabling studies.
