Overview

B-1344 is a site-specific long-acting polyethylene glycolylated (PEGylated) fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) analog developed for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). It selectively activates signaling from the βKlotho/FGFR1c receptor complex. Preclinical studies in nonhuman primates and rodents have demonstrated that B-1344 reduces hepatic steatosis, inflammation, and fibrosis, improves metabolic parameters such as body weight and lipid profiles, and enhances glycemic control. The drug is administered via subcutaneous injection[3][5][6].
