Overview
B1962 is a bispecific antibody fusion protein that targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). By simultaneously binding to PD-L1 and VEGF expressed on tumor cells or in the tumor microenvironment, it acts as both an immune checkpoint inhibitor and an angiogenesis inhibitor. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors including colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, small cell lung cancer (SCLC), squamous cell carcinoma, and triple negative breast cancer. The developer is Shanghai Tasly Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with clinical trials ongoing in China[1][2][3][5].
