Drug intelligence / Profile preview
B3-IL2 is an experimental **interleukin-2-based immunocytokine** consisting of an IL-2 cytokine fused to an antibody fragment that specifically targets **PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand 1)**. It has been studied in preclinical models as a therapy to direct cytokine activity toward the tumor microenvironment, aiming to enhance local immune activation against cancer. In mice, B3-IL2 significantly reduced tumor growth in orthotopic pancreatic carcinoma and, in combination with the monoclonal antibody TA99, slowed melanoma progression and prolonged survival.
