Overview

B4t2-001 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Bio4t2 for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets BT-001, a novel self-antigen overexpressed on various solid tumors. Upon administration, these modified T cells recognize and bind to BT-001-expressing tumor cells, triggering cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses that result in targeted tumor cell destruction. The product leverages Bio4t2’s proprietary PrismCore platform, which uses algorithmic learning and iterative design to optimize CAR constructs for safety and efficacy against self-antigens while minimizing off-tumor effects. Clinical trials are evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in multiple advanced solid tumor types including gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colorectal cancers (CRC), and metastatic breast cancer[1][3][5][7].
