B7-H3 CAR gamma-delta T cells are an investigational cell-based immunotherapy consisting of gamma-delta (γδ) T cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting B7-H3 (CD276). B7-H3 is an immunoregulatory protein belonging to the B7 family that is highly expressed across various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), pediatric cancers, and brain tumors, while maintaining limited expression in healthy tissues. Gamma-delta T cells, including the Vδ1 and Vγ9Vδ2 subsets, offer unique advantages for allogeneic "off-the-shelf" therapy due to their MHC-independent antigen recognition and inherent anti-tumor cytotoxicity, which minimizes the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). The therapy is being developed by several entities, including Hebei Senlang Biotechnology (under the code QH104) and Miltenyi Biotec, for the treatment of AML, CNS malignancies, and various B7-H3-positive solid tumors.
