Overview

B7-H3 UCAR-T cell injection is an allogeneic, "off-the-shelf" chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting B7-H3 (also known as CD276). B7-H3 is a transmembrane protein and member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including advanced glioma, while showing limited expression in normal tissues. This universal CAR-T (UCAR-T) product is engineered from healthy donor T-cells, typically using gene-editing technologies to disrupt the T-cell receptor (TCR) and/or HLA molecules to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-mediated rejection. Developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University, the therapy is designed to provide a standardized, readily available treatment option for patients with B7-H3-positive advanced glioma. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity.
