B7-H4 monoclonal antibody refers to a class of immunotherapeutic agents designed to target B7-H4 (also known as VTCN1), a member of the B7 family of costimulatory proteins. B7-H4 is frequently overexpressed in various malignant tumors, including glioma, breast, and ovarian cancers, where it acts as a negative regulator of T-cell-mediated immunity. By binding to B7-H4, these antibodies aim to block its inhibitory signal, thereby reversing CD8+ T-cell exhaustion and enhancing the anti-tumor immune response.
