Drug intelligence / Profile preview
B836 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Nanolattix using the Biolattix technology platform. It is designed to simultaneously target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) and Tissue Factor (TF). By targeting two distinct antigens, B836 aims to overcome resistance mechanisms associated with single-antigen HER2 ADCs, such as tumor heterogeneity and antigen downregulation. Preclinical studies have demonstrated enhanced binding and internalization compared to single-target ADCs, as well as superior anti-tumor efficacy in models with low HER2 expression. GLP safety studies in cynomolgus monkeys indicated a favorable safety profile with no drug-related ocular or systemic toxicity at doses up to 5 mg/kg.
