Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA 0125 is a small-molecule natural product candidate being developed by Alsys for the treatment of plaque psoriasis. It is designed as a multi-target inhibitor that acts on S100 proteins and several key pro-inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-23 (IL-23), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α). By modulating these signaling pathways, BA 0125 aims to reduce the inflammatory skin pathology associated with psoriasis. The drug is currently in the clinical safety stage of development, which corresponds to Phase 1.
