BA-V151

**BA-V151** is a multifunctional oncolytic immunotherapy developed by Bioarchitech, engineered as a modified Vaccinia virus that selectively replicates in tumor cells while sparing healthy tissue. Administered intravenously, it directly lyses tumor cells, acts as a vaccine adjuvant to boost tumor-specific T cells, and expresses a proprietary single-domain antibody (sdAb) that inhibits CD47, the \"don't eat me\" signal, thereby enhancing phagocytosis by immune cells and synergizing with monoclonal antibodies like trastuzumab. In preclinical models of aggressive metastasizing cancer, BA-V151 completely protected treated animals from metastases that typically kill 20-50% of untreated controls.[2]
