Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA1105 is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein that is highly expressed in various gastrointestinal tumors but has limited expression in normal tissues. Developed by Shandong Boan Biotechnology, BA1105 is designed to treat CLDN18.2-positive advanced solid tumors, including gastric cancer, gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, and pancreatic cancer. The antibody exerts its antitumor effects primarily through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), effectively recruiting the host immune system to eliminate malignant cells. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced malignancies.
