BA1202 is a tetravalent bispecific T cell engager antibody targeting human carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA; CEACAM5; CD66a) and CD3. It is designed to treat solid tumors, particularly CEA-positive cancers such as advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic cancer, and gastric cancer. BA1202 binds bivalently with high affinity to CEA on tumor cells and monovalently with lower affinity to CD3 on T cells while retaining the Fc region. This structure enables it to link cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) with tumor cells, activating endogenous T cells for targeted killing of CEA-expressing tumor cells while reducing the risk of cytokine release syndrome. Preclinical studies have shown potent anti-tumor activity in mouse models and good safety profiles. BA1202 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for advanced solid tumors including colorectal cancer[1][2][3][4][5][7].
