Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA201 is a bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by T-Cypher Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate is designed to simultaneously target the cancer-testis antigens MAGE-A4 and MAGE-A8 on tumor cells while engaging the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual-targeting mechanism facilitates the formation of an immunological synapse, leading to T-cell activation and the subsequent directed killing of tumor cells expressing MAGE-A4 or MAGE-A8. BA201 is currently in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
