BA202 is a bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by T-Cypher Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. The molecule is designed to target the PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma) antigen when presented by the HLA-A2 MHC class I molecule on the surface of tumor cells. By simultaneously binding to the CD3 receptor on T cells, BA202 facilitates the recruitment and activation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes directly to the tumor site, leading to the selective lysis of PRAME-expressing cancer cells. This approach allows for the targeting of intracellular proteins that are otherwise inaccessible to conventional monoclonal antibodies. BA202 is currently in the lead optimization stage of development.
