Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA225 is a bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by T-Cypher Bio for the treatment of various solid tumors. It is designed to simultaneously bind to the tumor-associated antigen TC25 and the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual binding mechanism facilitates the recruitment and activation of T cells directly to the tumor site, leading to the targeted destruction of cancer cells. BA225 is currently in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development. The drug is being investigated for potential applications in several oncology indications, including microsatellite stable colorectal cancer (MSS CRC), gastric cancer, esophageal cancer (both squamous and adenocarcinoma), lung cancer (both squamous and adenocarcinoma), melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), bladder cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
