Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA2401 is a bispecific T cell engager (TCE) antibody being developed by T-Cypher Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. The molecule is designed to target the PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma) protein specifically when presented by the HLA-A*24:02 major histocompatibility complex (MHC) allele. By simultaneously binding to the CD3 receptor on T cells, BA2401 recruits and activates cytotoxic T lymphocytes to the tumor site, facilitating the targeted destruction of PRAME-expressing cancer cells. As of early 2024, the program is in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
