Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Babor Ultimate ECM Repair Serum is a cosmetic skincare product developed by BABOR, a German skincare company. It is designed as a regenerative treatment to support skin firmness, elasticity, and hydration, particularly for individuals with mild to moderate skin aging. The formulation contains a proprietary BIOGEN PLANT EXTRACT, along with cotton thistle flower, wakame extract, hyaluronic acid, fermented soybean extract, and lupine proteins. These ingredients work synergistically to reinforce the skin's protective barrier and promote a more vibrant appearance. The serum was evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT05445661) sponsored by the dermatology group Goldman, Butterwick, Fitzpatrick and Groff, where it was used in combination with BABOR Cure Cream to assess its efficacy and safety for facial anti-aging.
