In the clinical and nutraceutical space, the strain HU36 is frequently utilized as a probiotic, often as a component of multi-strain formulations like MegaSporeBiotic. It is characterized by its high stability under gastric conditions and its capacity to colonize the gastrointestinal tract, where it exerts antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Clinical studies have explored its efficacy in reducing post-prandial endotoxemia, lowering triglyceride levels, and improving symptoms of metabolic syndrome and psoriasis.
