Overview

**Bactelide** is an investigational sustained-release topical bacteriophage product developed by Precisio Biotix for prevention and treatment of infected or colonized pressure injuries. It is a dosage-metered airless microcapsule spray containing a cocktail of 14 bacteriophages encapsulated in a biodegradable polymer, designed to penetrate the wound bed and provide prolonged local phage release. The product is intended to selectively lyse *Staphylococcus aureus*, *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, and *Klebsiella pneumoniae*, including antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, while being used alongside wound-care standard of care.
