Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bactigyn is a product line developed by Laboratoire CCD specifically for women's intimate health. The range includes both a Class IIa medical device in the form of vaginal ovules and an oral dietary supplement. The vaginal ovules contain tyndallized (heat-inactivated) *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* LRH020, lactic acid, sodium hyaluronate, and essential oils (tea tree and white thyme), designed to restore the vaginal ecosystem, balance pH, and treat or prevent infections like bacterial vaginosis and candidiasis. The oral capsules contain a blend of live probiotic strains (*L. rhamnosus* Rosell-11, *L. helveticus* Lafti L10, *L. brevis* HA-112, and *L. helveticus* Rosell-52) to support vaginal flora from within. These products work by promoting the restoration of the vaginal ecosystem, helping to balance vaginal flora, restore physiological pH, and alleviate symptoms such as itching, redness, and burning.
