Overview

Bactoblis EVOL is an advanced oral probiotic formulation designed to support the health of the upper respiratory tract and oral cavity. It is an evolution of the original Bactoblis formula, typically containing a high concentration of the specific probiotic strain *Streptococcus salivarius* K12 (BLIS K12) in combination with Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). The K12 strain is a naturally occurring commensal bacterium that colonizes the oral cavity and produces bacteriocin-like inhibitory substances (BLIS), specifically salivaricin A2 and B, which actively inhibit the growth of common pathogens such as *Streptococcus pyogenes* and *Streptococcus pneumoniae*. By restoring the oral microbiome balance and providing Vitamin D for immune system support, Bactoblis EVOL is used to reduce the recurrence of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and otitis media, as well as to improve oral hygiene and manage halitosis. It is formulated as orosoluble tablets to ensure prolonged contact with the oral mucosa.
