Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BAH244** is an investigational sequential CD33/CD123-directed CAR-T cell therapy developed by Essen Biotech for acute myeloid leukemia. The registered study NCT06420063 describes CAR-T cells targeting CD33, CD123, or both sequentially in patients with AML. Essen Biotech’s pipeline lists BAH244 as a Phase 2 AML program, although the same pipeline page also assigns the code to an alpha-globin-directed CRISPR-Cas9 program for alpha-thalassemia; that conflicting latter entry is not corroborated by the BAH244 clinical-trial record and appears to be a pipeline data inconsistency.
