Overview
Baidianfeng Capsules (白癜风胶囊) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product manufactured by Tianjin Hong Ren Tang Pharmaceutical, specifically indicated for the treatment of vitiligo. The formulation is based on TCM principles of tonifying the liver and kidney, nourishing the blood, and dispelling "wind" to treat skin depigmentation. It contains a complex mixture of herbal ingredients, including *Psoralea corylifolia* (Bu Gu Zhi), which is known to contain psoralens that sensitize the skin to ultraviolet light and stimulate melanocytes. Other components like *Astragalus* and *Salvia miltiorrhiza* are intended to improve microcirculation and modulate immune function. The drug is administered orally and has been approved for marketing in China by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
