Overview

Baihu Erzhi Tang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula administered in granule form. The name suggests a combination of two classic TCM formulas: Baihu Tang (White Tiger Decoction), which typically contains Gypsum fibrosum, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and Oryza sativa; and Erzhi Wan (Two-Ultimate Pill), which consists of Ligustrum lucidum and Eclipta prostrata. The therapy aims to improve renal function, reduce the urinary albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR), and manage systemic diabetic symptoms by clearing heat and nourishing yin.
